Hapé Ceremony Manchester with AJ Rowe

Join AJ Rowe of Conquer Me 365 in Gatley,
South Manchester for a guided Hapé ceremony incorporating
intention setting, breathwork, Hapé, sharing circle and a
closing sound bath.

The evening is held as a ceremonial experience, with time to
arrive, understand what to expect and move through each part
of the ceremony with AJ’s guidance.

What is Hapé?

Hapé, also known as Rapé, is a traditional Amazonian snuff
associated with ceremonial practices among Indigenous peoples of
the Amazon.

It is traditionally administered through the nostrils using a pipe.
Hapé is not smoked.

At Conquer Me 365, its origins and ceremonial tradition are
acknowledged and respected as part of the experience.

What happens at the Hapé Ceremony?

Opening Circle & Intention

The evening begins together, giving you time to settle into the
space. AJ will explain the ceremony and what to expect before
anything begins.

Guided Breathwork

Breathwork forms part of the evening, bringing your attention
to the breath and the present moment before moving further
into the ceremony.

Hapé Ceremony

AJ then guides the group through the Hapé element of the ceremony.
The Hapé snuff is administered through the nostrils using a
ceremonial pipe.

Sharing Circle

Time is provided afterwards for reflection and a sharing circle
as part of the wider group experience.

Closing Sound Bath

The evening closes with a sound bath, giving you time to lie back,
listen and experience the sound before the ceremony comes to an end.

AJ’s connection with the tradition

AJ’s approach to Hapé has been shaped by his own experience
and time learning within the tradition.

AJ was initiated by members of the Huni Kuin,
an Indigenous people of the Amazon with a living ceremonial
tradition that includes the use of Hapé.

That experience informs the respect with which Hapé and its
origins are approached within Conquer Me 365 ceremonies.

You do not need previous ceremonial experience to attend.
AJ will explain the process and what to expect before the
Hapé ceremony begins.
